New Hampshire Marble
Cutting Information
CAUTION: Always wear eye protection and a dust mask when cutting or sanding cultured marble.
To cut the cultured marble or any of our other products use a circular saw with a masonry blade. Protect the finished side of the product before cutting, then flip the product over and cut from the unfinished side of the product. Double-check your measurements and where you are cutting before beginning any cuts. When you begin cutting, take your time and let the saw do the work. Do not force the cut. As you get to the end, slow down and take your time so that you get a nice even break at the end. Rushing could cause the product to crack unevenly!
Always be sure to double check measurements.
If your cut will leave a large amount of material on either side of the cut, be sure to support both sides. If you do not, the unsupported weight could cause a premature crack!
To clean up any excess material left by the cut, use 60 or lower grit sand paper.
Be sure to always protect the finished sides of the product with soft, clean blankets or towels.
